Obituary of Kimberly Kozlowski

Kimberly A. Kozlowski, 46, of Johnsburg died after a brief illness on Jan. 15,2015 in Centegra Medical Center. Kim was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in the Johnsburg area where she graduated Johnsburg High School. Following high school she attended Western Illinois University for undergraduate (Communication and Public Relations) and graduate programs (Costume Design for the Theatre). Kim was employed by Baxter Healthcare for 12 years and three years ago had taken a position with Disney stores. Kim loved anything Disney, shopping, traveling, and being with friends and family. Kimberly is survived by her parents Carol Kozlowski and Walter (Liz) Kozlowski; her brothers Walter (Kristi) and Jeremy (Shelly) Kozlowski; her sister April (Larry) Dubois and her soulmate Joe Criel and his children Robyn, Stevie (Sydney) and Tasha (Frankie), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who she considered family. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday Jan. 23 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, (Rt. 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where there will be a visitation from 5:00 pm until the time of services.
