Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Proctor

Jean Elizabeth Proctor, 83, of Libertyville, passed away July 20, 2015 at Advocate Condell Med. Ctr. Libertyville. Jean was born in Manistee, MI and had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 20 years. She was a graduate of Lake Forest High School and for a period of time had been employed by the North Shore Railroad. She had been an active member of the Lake County Homemakers Assn. since 1991 and had served for many years as a volunteer for the Lake County Museum. Jean had been active with youth groups being a leader for both 4-H as well as Girl Scouts. Jean is survived by her children Rich (Sue) Proctor, Kathy (Rick) Batten, Andy Proctor, Sue (Bruce) Suski, John (Judy) Proctor, Tom Proctor, Connie (Glenn) Zimmer, Barry (Laura) Proctor and Wendy (Russell May) Proctor; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard of 60 years of marriage who she met while working for the North Shore Railroad. Her family will receive friends Sunday July 26 from 2-4:30 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt. 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where there will be a memorialization of Jean at 4:30 pm.
