Margaret Flynn Keyes, 92, longtime Libertyville resident, passed away June 30, 2016. Margaret was an active member of the Senior Group with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville. She is fondly remembered for her love of children, holding them and selflessly caring for them. Margaret was a talented cook and enjoyed family gatherings. She was a wonderful mother and will be dearly missed.
Margaret is survived by her son Timothy; grandchildren Brian Thomas and Megan Burkette. She is preceded in death by her first husband William J Thomas and her second husband Jack Keyes; her son William M Thomas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday July 9th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to time of Mass at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave), Libertyville. Entombment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
