Shirley Jeanette Hill, nee Jacobsen, 86, of Indian Creek, passed away October, 1, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Shirley was born in Chicago, had been a 55 year resident of Indian Creek and was a longtime member of the CrossLife Evangelical Free Church, Libertyville.
She is survived by her children: Carol (Joseph) Giovanetto, Laurie (Richard) Hall, Timothy (Dawn) Hill, and Andrew (Cheryl) Hill; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Everett E. Hill in 1976.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday Oct. 6 at CrossLife Evangelical Free Church, 431 Austin Ave., Libertyville. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to SAMARITAN’S PURSE, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 (samaritanspurse.org) would be greatly appreciated.
