Melpa Y. Erickson, 92, of Libertyville, passed away Nov. 21, 2016 in Libertyville, IL. Mrs. Erickson was bom in Pocatello, Idaho and lived most of her adult life in Spokane, Washington where she was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. She had retired following over 40 years of service with Kaiser Aluminum of Mead, Washington.
She is survived by her son Mark (Patricia) Scales; her grandchildren Jason (Jill) Scales, Matthew (Tara) Scales, Jonathan (Amber) Scales and Mark (Tiffany) Scales and her great-grandchildren Lucy, Cole, Westley, Edith and Mathilda. She was preceded in death by her two husbands Charles A. Erickson and Harold A. Scales and her grandson Scott Scales.
