Obituary of John B. Caruso

John B “Hawk” Caruso, 81, of Grayslake formerly of Vernon Hills, US Veteran, passed away December 3, 2016. John devoted over 51 years to Enterprise/Valspar Paints developing all elements of the business from purchasing to managing. He was a sports encyclopedia with an amazing recall of sports trivia especially his home team favorites in Chicago. John lived his love of sports by participating regularly, particularly his favorite golf. John loved sports and he loved life. He was friend to all and will be dearly missed. John is survived by his wife Marianne of 51 years of marriage; his children Debra (Marc) DeStefano and Suzanne Caruso; his grandchildren Joseph, Angela and Nicholas and his sister Christine Caruso. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Wed. Dec 7 at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, 236 US Hwy 45, Indian Creek, IL where there will be a visistation 1 ½ hours prior to Mass. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, donations made to, Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047 would be greatly appreciated.
