Obituary of Gregory C. Rudolph

Gregory C. Rudolph, Sr., 79, of Libertyville, passed away Jan. 24, 2018 at his home following a lengthy illness. Greg was born in LaCrosse, WI to Marie and Ralph Rudolph. He was a school psychologist for 25 years and continued in private practice until retiring in 2015. Greg coached Little League baseball, was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs, and above all was a loving, encouraging, and supportive husband and father.

Greg is survived by his wife Barb; his children Debbie (Adam) Reiff, Cindy (Andy) Gilbert, Greg Jr., Chris (Patty) and Jenny (Andy) Bergstedt; his eight grandchildren; his sister Donna (Finian) Murphy; his brother Jim (Ronnie) and with many nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his daughter Cathy and his brother Fr. Tom Rudolph.

Funeral Mass will be 11:30AM Friday Jan. 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave., Libertyville with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Private family interment will follow Mass at Ascension Cemetery.
