Obituary of Robert Foster Troy

Robert Foster Troy, 82, passed away peacefully, February 25, 2018 at The Pepper Family Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 1935 and a lifelong resident of Highland Park. Robert was a graduate of Highland Park High School. He then served in the United States Army and received an accounting degree from the University of Illinois. Robert retired from the A.B. Dick Company.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Norma Willene Troy; his adoring children, Karen (Dean) Meucci, Susan (Jim) Garland, Laura (Tim) Keating, Michael (Stacey) Troy; brother Tom (Sharon) Genest, sister Diane (Gene) Davis and sister-in-law Dorothy Troy; 10 cherished grandchildren; Dean and Robert Meucci, Alyssa and Jimmy Garland, Timmy and John Keating, Jake, Sydney, Sophie and Josh Troy, and several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Foster Troy, mother, Margaret Genest and brother, Jim Troy.

Services and interment will be private.
