anet V. Cappon of Antioch Janet V. Cappon (nee Vollmer), 78, died Monday July 29,2013 in Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Janet was born in Chicago Heights and had been a full and part time resident of Antioch for the past 40 years. Prior to that she had been a resident of Rolling Meadows, Mt. Prospect and was raised in Matteson, IL. While living in Antioch, Janet had become an active member of Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ of Lake Villa, IL. She is survived by her daughter Joanne M. (Tom) Botten and her grandson T.J. Botten. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome of 36 years of marriage, and her parents Alfred and Nina (nee Taylor) Vollmer. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday Aug.1 at Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ, 19073 W. Grass Lake Road, Lake Villa where there will be visitation from 12 Noon until the time of services. If desired, memorial donations made directly to Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ would be greatly appreciated.
