Obituary of Lesley Joan Nordhem

Please share a memory of Lesley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lesley Joan MacNichol Nordhem, 77, passed away peacefully with family at her side on February 22, 2025.

She was born on March 18, 1947 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Thomas and Betty Leech MacNichol.

Lesley is survived by her husband Jon Nordhem, daughter Jennifer Nordhem, son-in-law William Geroge, and grandsons Hudson and Liam Nordhem-George, daughter Meredith Ewenson and son-in-law Nick Ewenson, sister Jean Harrison and brother-in-law Peter Harrison, sister-in-law Patti Nordhem Wilson and husband Chas Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews that she adored.

Lesley was a revered hostess and a founding partner of the distinguished Lincoln Park establishment, Four Farthings Tavern & Grille, which served the community for over thirty years. She was detailed and thoughtful with every table setting, gift, and handwritten memory. For Lesley, every moment was an opportunity to enjoy beauty in the small, meaningful moments and appreciate precious time spent with those she loved.

She will be remembered – and honored – for her incredible strength, perseverance, and courage.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made “in honor of Lesley Nordhem” to Northwestern Memorial Foundation supporting the cancer center programs at bit.ly/donatelesleynordhem or (833) 443-8663.
