Richard Bloomquist, 76 (May 13, 1948 - March 2, 2025)
Richard Bloomquist died peacefully on March 2 at the age of 76. He was a devoted husband, a cherished father, a loving Poppi, and a dear friend to many.
Born in Rockford, the son of Charlotte (Bailey), he is survived by his wife Pam, his children Riki and Tim (Lauren), his grandchildren Odin, Carolyn, and Nick, and his brother Dave (Rita), all of whom he adored.
His legacy of love, strength, and sense of humor will live on with those who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Polar Bears International in his honor.
