Obituary of Xiufang Wu

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Xiufang Wu, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2025  in Libertyville, IL.

Xiufang was born on December 12, 1954 in Qiqihaer city, Heilongjiang province, China. She lived in Liberty Towers in Libertyville, IL.

Surviving is her husband Zhankui Zhang 74 years old, her daughter Dongmu Zhang, and her 3 grandchildren Felix, Grace, and Alice Kong.

Xiufang was a very loving and caring person. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandma. She liked playing cards, puzzles, and bingos. She also liked knitting, cooking, and helping others.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 10:00 AM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel (101 Park Pl, Libertyville, 60048), followed by a service at 11:00 AM at Liberty Towers (130 E Cook Ave, Libertyville, 60048).

秀芳于1954年12月12日出生于中国的黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市。她住在伊利诺伊州利伯蒂维尔的自由塔公寓。

她身后留下了74岁的丈夫张占奎，女儿张东木，和三个外孙外孙女 Felix, Grace, 和 Alice Kong。

秀芳是一个非常有爱和善良热心的人。她是一位伟大的妻子、妈妈，和姥姥。她生前喜欢打牌、拼图、和宾果游戏。她还喜欢编织、烹饪，和帮助别人。

瞻仰仪式将于4月12日星期六上午10:00在 McMurrough 殡仪馆（101 Park Pl, Libertyville, 60048）举行，随后于上午11:00在 Liberty Towers（130 E Cook Ave, Libertyville, 60048）举行追悼会。
