Frank Barry, 84, of Green Oaks. Frank was a professional trumpet player from the early 1950’s (Kelly High School) to the early 1970’s. He loved Jazz, Swing, Chet Baker and Maynard Ferguson. He started working in the tuxedo industry in 1955 and operated his own store from 1970 to 2016. He enjoyed the Wisconsin’s Northwoods and the Southwest Florida Gulf Coast.
Frank is survived his beloved wife Joan, his loving children Glenn and Alan (Judy); his cherished grandchildren Brittany, Brent, Trevor and Brooke; his adoring great-grandchildren Porter, Harrison and Hannah.
Private funeral services were held June 18th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fisher Center of Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 110 East 42nd St, 16th floor, NY,NY 10017 www.alzinfo.org
