Obituary of Ryan Nitch

Ryan T. Nitch, 47, of Round Lake, passed away May 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Ryan was raised in Libertyville and attended Hawthorn School. He continued his education at Gallaudet University as a member of their MSSD football team and NTID at RIT.  He was a strong man with a big heart and despite the challenges he encountered in life, he always approached them with positive energy.  Ryan loved Chicago sports and proudly supported the Bears, Blackhawks and Cubs.  Ryan loved being on the water from his childhood boating trips to Lake Geneva to later catching prize worthy walleye.  Ryan always looked forward to the annual hockey camp with AHIHA where he volunteered as a counselor.  Ryan is remembered for his keen sense of humor and kind spirit; he will be dearly missed.

Ryan is survived by his mother Cindy, his children Bailey, Bethany and Brooke, his brothers Randall and Rob (Ladda), his nephews Matthew and Nicholas, his grandmother Virginia Morrow, his Aunt Karen Morrow and Uncle Jason (Gloria) Nitch. Ryan is preceded in death by his father Tom and his Aunt Prudence Morrow.
