Obituary of Suzanne Lynn Reuskens

Suzanne Lynn Reuskens, 58, of Gurnee, passed away peacefully at her home on June 5, 2023. Suzanne was born to John and Patricia in Libertyville, where she graduated from Libertyville High School.

Throughout her life, Suzanne exemplified a deep commitment to serving others. For 28 years, she dedicated herself to the care of residents at Winchester House, where her compassionate nature touched the lives of many. Later, she transitioned to Condell Hospital, where she continued to serve those in need.

Suzanne had a special place in her heart for animals, finding joy in the company of her beloved cats, dogs, birds, and horses. Her love for Elvis, Disney, and the Wisconsin Dells was evident, adding a touch of nostalgia and happiness to her life.

In her leisure time, Suzanne enjoyed swimming and found excitement in playing bingo, often proving to be remarkably lucky when trying her hand at the slot machines. Activities that Suzanne enjoyed were roller coasters and horseback riding.

Suzanne is survived by her loving father John; her dearest siblings Debbie (George) Estrada, Diane Reuskens and John (Sheila) Reuskens; her cherished niece and nephews Amanda, George and Anthony; and many grand nieces, nephews and cousins; her aunts Barbara Marabeth and Kathy Loomis, and last but not least, her little kitty Sprite. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia.

Services for Suzanne will be 2pm on Friday August 4^th at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Street, Libertyville. Funeral arrangements by McMurrough Funeral Chapel (847) 362-2626.
