Obituary of Alyce A. Green

Alyce A. Green, 87, of Grayslake, formerly of Arlington Heights, passed away Feb. 27, 2017, at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Mrs. Green was born in Evanston, IL and had been a 14-year resident of Grayslake.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Linda) Green; her grandchildren, Kyle and Trevor Green, Kim (Ray) Mantych and Sean Pedersen; her siblings, Michael (Maria) Gaynor and Gayle Cokenower; 6 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; her daughter, Cathy (the late Ken) Pedersen; her grandson, Ken (Jill) Pedersen.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 1, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, where there will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Techny, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Cancer Society in Alyce’s memory.
