Obituary of Vladislav Malevanets

Vladislav Malevanets, of Grayslake, IL, passed away March 26, 2023, at the age of 32.

Vlad was born July 20, 1990 in Berdyansk, Ukraine, and later grew up in Vernon Hills, IL. He graduated from Vernon Hills High School and attended Southern Illinois University. He graduated with a degree in Aviation Flights & Technology, and later earned his license to be a pilot. Vlad enjoyed flying planes, fishing, hunting, building custom pc setups and electronics, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his father, Alexander Malevanets, his grandmother, Nina Trygubenko, and his cousin Julian Malevanets. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anzhelika “Angela” Malevanets, grandfather Ivan Trygubenko, and aunt Larisa.

A Visitation for Vladislav will take place Monday, April 3, 2023, from 5PM-7:30PM, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Pl., Libertyville, IL. Interment Willow Lawn Memorial Park will take place Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10:30AM. Arrangements entrusted to McMurrough Funeral Chapel.
