Enjoyed our time together at Breese Community High School. Hunted on his father's game farm outside of Breese.
Walt and Lana attended our wedding in Minot, ND February 19, 1972. Remember flowers out along outside of building on that day in February.
Remember Shirley and I staying with Walt and Lana in Chicago and having car problems.
Many great memories. Always sad to lose a friend.

I had the good fortune to get to know Walt ,and Lana, as well, when I had a summer job at Corn Products. Walt was so helpful and friendly to me as a new employee- and he was so much fun with the social outings he planned. Several years later, my wife and I were thrilled when Walt and Lana drove to Ohio to attend our wedding. I found Walt to be an impressive friend, and his passing has left me very saddened. I want to express my deepest sympathy for Lana, Scott and Matt as they face this difficult loss. Larry Brown

Walt was my client for haircuts for many years, but he was also my friend. He watched my kids grow up and was always rooting for them, and my husband, in their endeavors. He always kept his head held high and shared his love for his family. He was proud of his family, his career and his fishing accomplishments. He always wore his lucky fishing hat! Heaven has the biggest fish and the calmest water, all for you Walt.

Dearest Lana, Scott, Matt & family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. We had been praying for a long time for Walt to regain his health. I remember the time we ran into him at the grocery store. His face lit up when we asked about his fishing - charter business.
Walt and Lana showed up for our wedding when a lot of family didn’t. That meant the world to me and I’ll always feel gratitude about that. May Jesus Christ, Son of the living, loving God comfort your family at this devastating time and along the difficult road ahead.

I have been honored to have Walt, Lana, Scott and Matt a part of my family. Walt always was supportive of my kids and showed great respect for me as a Dad.
