I just wanted to pay my respects to the Brew Crew's #3 fan, right behind Coach Steve Rymer, SuperFan #2 Mama Matsu, and then there was Papa Bruce. On our one and only fan appreciation night on our final game in 2011 (which we lost 24-0), he won a limited edition Brew Crew sippie cup. When he received his prize, he started to cry and said he was speechless. Most other people would have thought it was junk, but he treasured it. He had a great sense of humor and took joy in watching all of his girls's activities. I always joked with Erin that her dad can drive my dad around on his motorcycle with my pops riding with him in a sidecar and they both would be wearing samurai headbands. Now they both can be cruising around together up there and watch over us. Love all of you - Erin, Megan, Bridget and Stephanie and your manly husbands and kids. Mama M - You're in good hands. Your girls got you. You and Papa B built a great family together. God Bless!

We always made a point to seek Bruce out at family gatherings. He appeared to be quiet, but once you got him going he could be talkative and quite funny. He loved Sue and his daughters so much. You could hear it in his voice and see it on his face. I thank God for bringing Bruce into our lives, loving Sue, and bringing four beautiful daughters into this world. He will live on through all of you. We’re counting on that! He will be always be in our hearts and memories.
