I worked with Leigh Ann at Gaylord and enjoyed being her coworker. Her smile and energy was always so positive! I am very sad to just be learning of her passing. Sending love to the family.

Leigh Ann and I spent so much time hanging out in our 20's and 30's. When we were in Carthage, part of that time we lived in the same apartment building. Such good times cruising in our old cars, playing the radio and singing at the top of our lungs to REO Speedwagon and Air Supply (oh dear, I could not sing at all- fortunately, she was to the one carrying the tune). We had a thousand lunches together when we could get out from work for that hour and meet up. Later on, we both ended up moving up to the northern part of Illinois. Many hours were spent playing cards & shopping - while Curt was the champion of patience, putting up with that and our other various antics. Rest in peace Leigh Ann and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family & Curt, Mary, Scott and Todd

I was new to Chicago/Lundbeck, newly engaged and out of my element not knowing anyone or having family around. Leigh Ann welcomed with with warm open arms and we quickly clicked. We enjoyed having lunch together, gossiping, talking all things make up and clothes. She arranged an engagement party at work, going the extra length to surprise me, having my fiancé show up.
I will always remember Leigh Ann as the beautiful, kind, selfless amazing woman she was.
She will be so damn missed.

Leigh Ann and I basically grew up together. We met in grade school when she moved to LaHarpe. We had such fun times together...especially in High School. After that, she went on her way and I went mine. But we reconnected a few years later. We fell right back into the fun times. I remember when she met Curt. I believe it was truly love at first sight. She told me he was her rock thru all the sickness and treatments. I Thank God for the friendship and the memories. I only have the one picture. It was a fun night. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend.

We loved Leigh Ann and especially loved hearing about your trip to Ireland which corresponded with matchmaker week. We loved hearing about the farmers who came to town with only their faces scrubbed and they all wanted to dance with Leigh Ann. Curt apparently had his work cut out for him keeping an eye on his bride. What a beautiful couple you two were. It was evident how in love you both were. Our sympathy Curt!
