Mary Jane Walton, a 50-year resident of Libertyville, passed away at the age of 82 on September 19th, 2024. Mary Jane was born September 30th, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. She attended St. Bernadette's, in Drexel Hill, PA, and Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. Later graduating from Keystone Secretarial School. Mary Jane married her "high school sweetheart" Richard Bruce Morozin in 1962 and had 3 children, Maureen Harris, Christopher ( Jenny) Morozin and Brian Morozin. They were happily married for 11 years and sadly she was widowed at a young age when Bruce passed away in 1973. Mary Jane was fortunate to later remarry, Russell C. Walton. Mary Jane grew her family adding 2 stepchildren, Rusty (Kim) Walton, Penny (Harold) Starcher and later Russ and Mary Jane had Lynsay (Mike) Johnson. They were married for 45 wonderful years until Russ passed away in 2019. She was a loving "Mimi" to 17 grandchildren, Shane, Zach, Max, Emily, Kally, Shannon, Chris, Teresa, Erica, Rebecca, Kelsey, Haley, Jimmy, Karen, Jacob, Luke and Olivia. She was also blessed with 7 great-grandchildren and another on the way!

Mary Jane is survived by all her children, her sister and (best friend) Kathleen Moors, brother-in-law Michael Morozin and sister-in-law, Joan Bacci. Mary Jane, was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Bruce Morozin, Russell Walton and her mother Eleanor Scahill.

Mary Jane, was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was a devoted, loving and supportive, daughter, wife, mother, "Mimi", sister, caregiver and friend to many. Her home and heart were open to all, including lending a room when needed. Mary Jane always had her home filled with many dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and hamsters. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren, attending their events, baking, playing Scrabble, reading, and gardening, especially tending to her succulent plants.

Mary Jane's warmth, love, spirit and (pound cakes) will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday Sept. 29th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville ll. Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am, Monday Sep. 30th at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville ll. Interment will be in Broomall, PA.
