June M. Holmes, nee Leick, 84, passed away Nov. 18, 2014. Mrs. Holmes was named Libertyville's Senior Woman of the year. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph McConoughey and the late James Holmes, the loving mother of Judith (Gerald) Salzman, the proud grandmother of Amanda (Robert) Zimmermann and Adam (Brigid) Salzman, the dearest great-grandmother of Alivia, Joslyn and Chrissy Salzman and Owen Zimmermann; the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Mayme (nee Woldsfeld) Leick; and the dear step-mother of Jeorge Holmes, James Holmes, Jr., Jerrold Holmes, Devonna Armstrong and the late John Holmes.
Funeral Mass will be 10 am Monday Nov. 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave, Libertyville where her family will receive friends from 9:30 until the time of Mass.
