My thoughts and prayers to the Glabowicz family on the tragic loss of Mike. I had the opportunity to work at Stellar during my summer breaks of college. I have great memories of Mike and the tents that were installed for the different events in the Chicago area. His business left a lasting impression at each event. God Bless.

I am deeply saddened by the sudden death of Mike, my condolences go out to Mary, Jack and the Glabowicz family.
I remember Mike as a good friend who loved the outdoors and all the critters too. We spent time together canoeing the Des Plaines River, sea kayaking Lake Michigan, or just hiking in the woods. Many New Years were spent with Mike at Minocqua Winter Park where we would XC ski the beautiful woods of northern Wisconsin.
Mike loved his dogs and cats. I especially remember Duke who was a Great Dane, always ready for another adventure with Mike. His cats would strategize and scout their operations from the top of the refrigerator on a typical day.
A little piece of Mike will stay with us for the rest of our lives. His passion for the environment will live in the spirits of future walks in the woods or paddles down his beloved Des Plaines River.

Mike was a sincere person with an outsized heart aimed at caring for others. His optimism was matched only by his love for his family and his work ethic. Mike was a sensitive artist in the way he approached his craft and spared nothing to reach creatively fantastic results. He brought fun and humor to everything he touched. Mike, you will definitely be missed but we are blessed for the time we were fortunate to have you in our lives.

While I only knew Mike for 5-6 years, I called him my friend. We met at Northbrook Sports Club while shooting on the same winter skeet team. He was a pleasure to be with, to talk to, and was so very helpful anytime he was needed. Over the years we spent together at the club it was easy to see what was important to him, family and friends. He was taken too soon from us and will always be in our hearts and mind. My deepest condolences to his family. No words can reduce the feeling of their loss but know he was love by all he touched.

We will very much miss Mike. He was one of the nicest people I have known and never had something unpleasant to say about anyone. We shot together at Northbrook for a number of years and I enjoyed my conversations with him even more than the shooting. It seems impossible that he will no longer be there and his passing is a great tragedy to us all.
