Obituary of Shahram "Sean" Moghari

Shahram Moghari, 66, of Miami Beach, Florida passed away September 16, 2015 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Teheran, Iran to Bahram and Azar Moghari. He graduated from Indiana University and went on to earn his M.B.A. from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Education was always something he valued and treasured. After his time in Indiana, he moved to New Hampshire where he began a long and successful career with Prudential. Beginning as an agent he worked tirelessly traveling around New Hampshire and Vermont. He quickly rose through the ranks promoted to district manager then to regional manager. His territory spanned most of New England. No matter how far his travels took him he always came home with little trinkets and treasures for his children. Upon retirement, he traded the long winters of New Hampshire for the sunshine of Florida. He was a devoted father, brother and grandfather. He loved nothing more than talking about politics, movies, current events and the latest antics of his grandchildren. A true academic he never stopped learning and probably never missed an episode of Jeopardy!. An avid watch collector, he found timepieces to be works of art. He was also a kid at heart who loved to tell jokes and make people smile. The grandchildren were by far his favorite audience. He was a man with a truly generous spirit and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his three beloved younger sisters, Mandana, Roxanna and Shahrazad. His three loving daughters: Leili (Brian) McMurrough, Ashley, and Molly (Luke Bristol) and his five grandchildren Audrey and Clara McMurrough and Kellan, Emmett and Bryn Bristol. Following his wishes, a memorial service will be held privately.
