Robert “Bob” Horvath, 85, of Libertyville, US Army, passed away December 2, 2015 at Advocate Condell Med. Ctr., Libertyville. Bob was born in Dearborn, MI and resided in Libertyville for 44 years and Gurnee for the past year and a half. While serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he was promoted to Sargent. Bob worked in the automotive industry during his entire career; beginning as a mechanic and later as a salesman for several after-market automotive equipment manufacturers. Bob had a love for automobiles and was active for several years in area car clubs. He enjoyed home remodeling and taking vacations with his wife. He also, thoroughly enjoyed each new birth, as his entire life was devoted to family. This was especially true during his last years. Bob is preceded in death by his parents George and Agatha Marie, brother George, sister Veronica and son Ronnie. He leaves behind his wife; JoAnn (nee Yopek), 2 daughters; BethAnn (John) Duncan and SueAnn (Alan)Gezunterman, 4 grandchildren; Lindsay (Patrick) Duncan Schwisow, Ian Duncan, AJ Gezunterman, and Katherine Gezunterman, and 3 great grandsons; Jack, Henry and Charles Schwisow.
