Charles Brindly Wickremesekera, 74, died March 4, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born September 27, 1941 in Sri Lanka. His parents were Gertrude & Herbert Wickremesekera. He was the 6th of 8 children. He attended school in Sri Lanka and completed his business degree in Germany. He excelled in soccer and track. In 1978, he came to Chicago. He was a successful businessman, but his favorite role in life was grandfather. He was a lover of life and was always up for a good party.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ted & Emil, and his sister Nedra. He survived by his wife Chitra, brother Sheran, sisters Sumila, Greta, & Dharmi, son Shane (Francesca), and his grandchildren Preston, Grant, & Addison.
