Arlene was an exceptionally kind person, and she always lifted my spirits whenever I entered the retail office at Great America. I remember her wishing me well upon leaving the park and how much it meant to me that she had offered such kind words. I am thankful to have known her, and I know that countless other Great America employees from over the years feel the same way.

Dear Chris and family

I have worked at Six Flags for 25 seasons and always enjoyed engaging in conversation every time our paths crossed. I thought she was an amazing lady! She was always very kind, always smiling, and just was THE most pleasant person I have ever met. Ms. Arlene will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart. I send my deepest condolences.

Arlene was a terrific lady and an inspiration to us "old people" for how to maintain your sense of humor and keep actively engaged in the world as we age. I enjoyed many years working with Arlene and am so terribly sorry to learn of her passing. She had a full and rewarding life with many friends among her co-workers. Rest in Peace.
