I just heard from Deborah Steele Selma that John Senior passed a few weeks after the funeral that I attended of John jr. When my own brother passed unexpectedly in 2003 my father Raymond Kavanagh was never quite the same I know how painful this can be but I am heartened by the fact that they are all up in heaven having a libation and watching over all of us in truth whenever I pass by karwick Plaza or go up Silvertip or hear fireworks go off and think of the 'infamous Canon' I smile and say a little thank you 2 John Senior and the Carroll family so I wish you peace in the coming days and blessings from Donna Kavanagh and the Kavanagh family of Long Beach Indiana

In 1976 Mr. and Mrs. Carroll hosted a bridal shower for me. It was a wonderful party....Mr. Carroll played the piano, sang and fired a real canon that he owned (It was bicentennial year and he said that he fired it once each day during the bicentennial year). My husband and I are married FORTY years this November. We have talked about the bridal shower that the Carrolls hosted many, many times. Mr. Carroll was a wonderful man.
