Obituary of Corazon Pabalan

Corazon “Cory” Pabalan, 70, of Vernon Hills, passed away Sept. 27, 2016. Cory was born in Angeles City, Philippines and married the love of her life Lorenzo at 17. They both had a desire to explore the world and spent many years in Europe before settling down in London, England. As their children grew and started their own lives, they all decided to move to the United States. Cory was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Libertyville. She is remembered for her great talent in the kitchen and her love of shopping. She was wonderful wife, mother and friend to many, she will be dearly missed. Cory is survived by her husband Lorenzo, of 52 years, whose greatest pleasure was to spoil her, of which he did a very fine job; her daughters Cecille Concepcion of Waukegan, Crisa (Salvatore) Giamundo of New York and Marianne (Ryan) Pabalan of Vernon Hills; 5 siblings in the Philippines and one sister Victoria in Oregon; and her furry grandchildren Puma, Raja and Jameson. Funeral Service for Cory will be 5:00 pm Saturday Oct. 1st at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (RT 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where the visitation will follow the service until 7:30 pm.
