Dear Johnson Family,
My condolences at John's passing. Please know that I was very fond of John and consider him a mentor. We worked together in the late 70's in the Schaumburg area. He was instrumental in my promotion and served as a great mentor in my early Illinois Bell career. I truly admired his management style and business acumen.
I recall the dinner invitation to your home in libertyville and was so impressed with your graciousness, beautiful home and family. He made a difference in my success and I wish I had the chance to thank him!
