Walter Joseph Kozeniewski, 88, of Libertyville, passed away Dec. 19, 2016 at his home. Walter was a roofer by trade, a member of Local 11 and was employed by Brown & Kerr. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish and had resided in Libertyville since 1973.
He is survived by his wife Emily of 56 years of marriage, his children Elizabeth (Fred) Kestler, Michael Kozeniewski and Carl (Nancy) Kozeniewski, his grandchildren Tynan & Cade Kestler and his sister Virginia. Walter was one of 9 children.
Funeral Mass will be 10AM Thursday Dec.22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Ave., Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Wed. Dec. 21 from 4-8 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
