Giovanna Urban (nee Accardi) of Gurnee/Libertyville passed away January 22, 2017. She was born in Italy and had been an area resident for the past 30 years. She and her late husband Lloyd were devout Roman Catholics and enjoyed visiting the many different Catholic Churches in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
Giovanna is survived by her sisters; Maria Dimarco and Josephine Todaro; her brother Jack Accardi, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple St. in Libertyville. Entombment Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Sunday, January 29 from 2:00 -5:00 p.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Route 176, 1 block East of Milwaukee Ave).
