Obituary of Harold A. Peterson

Harold August Peterson, 97, of Gurnee passed away September 3, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Peterson had served with the Army’s 60th Signal Battalion during WWII.  He had retired as a transportation sales representative for Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (CSX RR) after 40 years of service.

Mr. Peterson was the last known survivor of Kirkwood High School class of 1937, Kirkwood, MO.

He is survived by his daughter; Leslie (Gordon) Botts, and his grandchildren; Alexander & Victoria Botts.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary E. Peterson (nee Shelton). 

Private interment in the family plot at Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
