There are not enough stars on the heavens nor grains of sand on the shores, but rather, openings in heaven that love shines through on just how much love Father John shown upon us...May God bless him for ever

Condolences to the family. I knew John as the "big brother" of Tom Finnegan, a close friend during most of high school years. I met the entire family on many occasions, though lost touch during later years. I remember the family with kindness and compassion. Blessings.

Fr. Finnegan was all about love; he loved all of us at SMV, he was the ultimate shepherd, and he tended to his flock with caring and concern, especially in our darkest hours. We were all so fortunate to have been part of his life at SMV, and we remember him with....yes....love.
Julie Wesson, one of the flock who loved him very much
