Deepest sympathies and condolences to Gildo's family and friends. Gildo was my great uncle, my father's father's brother. I got a chance to meet him in the 80s or 90s when he visited my hometown of New Rochelle, New York, with his daughter, Karen.* I wish I could have known him better but am glad and grateful to have met him at all. I liked him immediately.* He was nice and easy to talk to.*
Karen, I am sooooooo sorry for the loss of your father. I lost my Dad to colon cancer 3 years ago. It's painful but time does heal and mend your heart.* And, I'm sure, you have great, wonderful memories of your dad that you can look back on and hold on to. * Rest assured, your father is sleeping peacefully in God's memory and will be resurrected soon into God's righteous, peaceful, healthy, New Paradise Earth!* Then we can all be together again; your dad, my Dad, our grandparents and us and we will never have to lose each other ever again bevause at that time "death will be no more."-Revelation 21:4. I wish I could be there in person for you. I send you a big, warm, comforting, reassuring hug!!* Love Ya!!* Sincerely, Susanne (Fato) Tapley
