Shelly and I met Joe through a connection with his brother. We learned of his love of the Cubs and from that moment we shared our season tickets with him. Back in the day before digital tickets we would meet and actually divide paper tickets over lunch. His passing was a shock to us. We will miss him. Hopefully, there is a ball field in Heaven. If so, I know he will have box seats. It is so true that "Anyone who met Joe knew he was truly one of a kind."
