i knew pete from 1952 when we were both in the 5th grade in billings and attending washington elementary school. we were fast friends until a falling out over a model building project. i didn't see him again until the 9th grade when were in an english class at lewis and clark junior high. pete was highly motivated and as we were all planning our courses for high school pete decided to take latin in high school. our teacher ms smith tried to discourage him but pete was having nothing of it. he was going to take latin. he didn't say why but my guess is that it had to do with something within him that he wanted to go either into law or medicine.
i don't know why is name popped into my mind today but this has given me a chance to remember and reminece.

Cindy & family,
We are all reeling from this tragic and unexpected absence of Pete.
We are praying you feel God's strength and our love supporting you through this difficult time.
We will always remember him with his pink cheeks accented by his wonderful smile, and the mischievous twinkle in his eyes, as he listened to, or told a story or joke.
Such the fisherman & golfer: and sometimes fishing for golfballs! Oh how the Allentown family (men) enjoyed those outings!!
Thank GOD for those memories and times shared!! They and faith give us strength as we recall all we shared and love about Pete. He is sorely missed.
Our heartfelt condolences to you all.
God Bless you all.

We are sure Pete is catching the big one in the perfect lakes and streams of heaven, telling corny jokes, regaling others with tales of his Montana youth, and then golfing on a perfect day down the fairways and greens of heaven. We have shared so much of our lives with Pete and Cindy, and we are much the better for all the laughter and good times the four of us shared. Pete lives on in our hearts and minds, and in all the stories we have to tell, until we meet again. We sure miss you, Pete, our friend of 50 years...

Cindy and Family,
Pete was a kind and joyful person. Carl and I were always greeted with a smile and, of course, a joke.
Hold on to his memory and know he is always with you. We are thinking of you and are always just a phone call away.
