Like no other, BJ was an adornment to our Lake County legal community. This was not just because of his legal skill and unfailing willingness to help, but also because of his personality, which simply exuded kindness and optimism. Anyone who ever had the pleasure to meet my father will remember a kind, dedicated, and easy-going man who always had a smile on his face. He lived a life of service but most especially to his family. However saddened at his passing, I am at least thankful that he is now at peace.
He was the definition of a good person, my moral compass, and any success in my life I owe to having him for my father.
