Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Csicsila

Jennifer Lynn Csicsila, 46, of Grayslake, passed away July 30, 2020. Jennifer grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia with a determination uncommon among her peers graduating from McIntosh High School a year early. Jen received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University and shortly thereafter began her public servant career as a US Customs Federal Agent. Her career gave her the opportunity to travel abroad and throughout the US, a passion she dearly loved. She is remembered as a fiercely independent soul with a bubbly smile that would lighten any room she was in. She had an enormous heart for the downtrodden, a consistent believer in the underdog and was the best supervisor anyone could ask for. She gave without ever the expectation of receiving anything in return. Her greatest passions in life were her children and she loved her role as mom. Jennifer is survived by her parents Darryl and Barbara Csicsila; the father of her children Chris Wanek; her children Kasey and Gavin; her siblings Christine and Darryl and her pug Carlos. A memorial service for Jennifer will be at 4:30pm on August 15th at Drake Field, 155 Willowbend Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269. In lieu of flowers memorials made to her children's education via Venmo account @Kasey-Gavin-Donations would be greatly appreciated.
