Obituary of Kathleen Eleanor Runstrom

Kathleen Eleanor Runstrom, 75, of Libertyville, our beloved sister, grandmother and mom went comfortably to Heaven yesterday October 13, 2020. She was surrounded by her great family the entire time she was in decline. She will be perpetually remembered for her extreme generosity and compassion for others. Anyone who has ever known her will confirm she was the strongest person we have known. She will be sorely missed by many of us, but she will now be looking out for us from above. Kathleen is survived by her loving son Mark Runstrom, step-daughter Karyn; her adoring grandchildren Ella, Seth and Olyvia; and her dearest siblings Peg Schneider, Barbara Tivnan (the late Michael USMC retired), Mary Schneider, Thomas Schneider (Renate Reichs) and Matthew Schneider (Cindy). Funeral Mass for Kathleen will be held at 10:30AM on Friday October 23rd at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Sisters of Charity of the BVM, 1100 Carmel Dr, Dubuque, IA 52003 would be greatly appreciated. Interment St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Chicago.
