Katherine Marie Johnson, nee Brown, 72, of Libertyville IL passed away Jan. 9, 2021. Katherine was born in Waukegan, IL raised in Libertyville, received her B.S. Degree from Barry University, and had served for years as a direct support staff member at Lamb's Farm of Libertyville.
Katherine is survived by her sons Paul M. Johnson and Timothy (Michell Martinez) Johnson and her sister Audrey A. Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents the former mayor of Libertyville Charles C. Brown and her mother Lorraine Brown nee Knigge and her sister Nancy Brown.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30AM Friday Jan. 15 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Thursday Jan. 14 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville. If desired, memorial donations are requested to be made to Lambs Farm, 14245 W. Rockland Rd.
