Rosemarie Catherine Braun, 93 years old, has left this world on Thursday, January 21,2021, to join God in his Kingdom. She was blessed with a long and fulfilling life.
Rosemarie Catherine Braun was born on February 15, 1927 in Chicago, IL and is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael T. Braun of 37 years. She is survived by her 5 children Kathryn (Braun) and John Parrish, Cynthia (Braun) and Dan Pigott, Michael and Peggy Braun, Mark and Margaret Braun, Karl and Judy Braun. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, April (Pigott) and Jason Vargo, William Pigott, Madeline (Pigott) and Tim Mullen, David Braun, Christian Braun and one great-granddaughter Maizy Vargo.
Rosemarie possessed a deep passion for life, love, classical music, the opera, ballet, sweets, shopping, coffee and cake, Christmas, the Hallmark Store, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, travel but above all her deep love and devotion to her family.
Limited visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL on Sunday, January 24, 2021. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 25,2021 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to preregister at https://stjoseph.ivolunteer.com/funeraljanuary25. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn during all services.
