Obituary of Gerald Brzezinski

Gerald Brzezinski, 82, lifelong Libertyville resident, passed away April 8, 2021 at Advocate Condell Med. Ctr. Jerry was born, raised, and later raised his own family in the same house in Libertyville. He was the owner of North Shore Glass and The Auto Glass Shop in Libertyville until his retirement in February. He specialized in cutting glass on vintage and custom cars.  Jerry had the entrepreneurial spirit and was always working on new projects. He is remembered for his love of his garden flowers, cold beer, scratch tickets, Civil War history, his treasured trip to Normandy, and his famous ice cream socials and 4^th of July parties. He loved his large family and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by Carol, his wife of 62 exciting years; his children Kathrine (Eric) Iannuzzi, Gerald Peter (Ann Krehmeyer), Keith (Bonnie), Peter, Kristy (James) Hayes, David (Tami) and Julie (Neal) Dodd; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Ann Randall, sister-in-law Jane Brzezinski and brother-in-law Edward (Debbie) Hackett. 

Visitation for Jerry will be held on Saturday May 8th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lamb's Farm, 14245 W Rockland Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org would be greatly appreciated.
