Obituary of David P. Hallas

David P. Hallas, 71, US Marines, of Libertyville, passed away June 7, 2021 at Condell Med. Ctr. Dave was born in Waukegan to William and Helen Hallas. He devoted 42 years to the Sheet Metal Workers Union working on construction projects in Cook and Lake County. Dave loved everything golf and enjoyed being a course ranger at the Buffalo Grove Golf Course. His main focus in life was pleasing his wife Janet, whether taking trips to Florida or doing anything she wanted. He is remembered for his wonderful belly laugh and will be dearly missed by his many friends.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Janet; his dearest siblings Br. William Hallas and Sharon (Charles) Miller; his cherished brothers-in-law Edward (Linda) Schuetz and Raymond Schuetz and his adoring nieces and nephews Glenn, Gregory, Jerry, Sheree, Kelly and Steven.
