Kenneth “Ken” L. Fogo Jr. a loving husband, father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly on June 15th, 2021, at the age of 72 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville.

Ken is survived by his wife Joy (Trelford) Fogo of 50 years, daughter Tammy (Fogo) Dreyer, Bart Dreyer, son Jeremy Fogo, AnneMarie Fogo, granddaughter Hannah Dreyer, grandson Jeremy Fogo II, grandson Cody Dreyer, granddaughter Kaitlyn Fogo, mother Caroline (Brockman) Fogo, and brother Terry Fogo.  He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth L. Fogo Sr. and brother Larry Fogo.

Ken was born in Libertyville Illinois on February 6, 1949.  On July 17th, 1971, he married Joy a nurse and his high school sweetheart.  On February 24th, 1973, and July 19th, 1974, respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful children who were the most important part of his life.  Ken worked for Komatsu (International Hough) for 45 years.

Ken was a devoted husband and father.  His passion in life was his family and friends putting them first before himself.  He was the single greatest supporter to his family always dedicated to helping anyone, anytime with anything.  He was a role model to all exemplifying the best of a husband, son, father, and grandfather.  His enormous heart, sense of humor and love for others will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Jude as an expression of sympathy.

A celebration of life for Ken on Saturday, June 26th at 1 pm at Ken's house for family and friends.
