Obituary of Patsy J Pendergrass

Patsy J. Pendergrass, 88, longtime Lake County resident, passed away peacefully June 23, 2021. Patsy joyfully dedicated her life to the service of others whether as a Candy Striper at her mother’s hospital, being a long-standing bus driver for the Lake County school districts, affectionately remembered as “Hotrod Johnson” or raising her four children. She was a gentle spirit who brought kindness to all around her, even in her final days. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband Everett, daughter Pamela and son James. She is survived by her loving children David (Dawn) and Gary, her cherished grandchildren Nicole (Bobby) Gillcrist, Cassie, Zachary, Teagan, Leah and Christopher; her adoring great-grandchildren Emily and Wyatt; her dearest sister Peg Larsen and her treasured niece and nephews Anne, Tadd, Mark and Eric.
