Obituary of Mary E Hitzeman

Mary E Hitzeman, 95, of Libertyville, passed away peacefully August 10, 2021 with her family by her side. Mary was born in Ireland and moved to Chicago in 1955 to start a family. She is remembered for her devotion to the Catholic Church, by volunteering as a Minister of Care for the elderly of Libertyville. Mary is remembered as being a warm loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her loving children Sean, Noreen, Jean (Tim) Harger and Jim (Karen); her cherished grandchildren Conor & Tara (Trevor), Hannah & Michael & Will, Joey and Peter; her dearest sisters Gertie and Teresa and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband William, son Edward Francis and siblings Seamus, Frank, Peg and Joan.

Private Funeral Mass for Mary will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers memorials made to Youth & Family Counseling, 1113 S Milwaukee Ave # 104, Libertyville, IL 60048 would be greatly appreciated.
