Obituary of Marcia Jean Higgins

Marcia Jean Higgins, 80, of Sarasota, FL, died Jan 29^th.  She was born on June 24, 1941, to Douglas and Jean MacLeish in Chicago.  Marcia graduated Taft HS in 1958.  She then attended Ripon college, where she met her husband, Judson Higgins.  She graduated in 1962 with a degree in Education.  She worked as a teacher and later was the office manager for Libertyville Vision Center.  She was an avid golfer, enjoyed travel and boating on Green Lake, WI.  

Marcia is survived by her husband Judson Higgins, sons Jeffry (Theresa) and Douglas (Carol), granddaughter Madison, and sister Lorna MacLeish.  She was preceded in death by her Parents and sister Caroline. 

Visitation will be Thursday Feb 3^rd from 3:00 – 8:00pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 E Park Place Libertyville, IL   Services are Friday Feb 4^th at 11:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 9900 Gross Point Rd.
