Obituary of JoAnn Smith

JoAnn Smith, 82, of Libertyville, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2022. She was born in Waukegan and grew up in Grayslake graduating from Grayslake grade school and High School. She was nurturing to animals and was a regular dog walker to her friends and neighbors. JoAnn loved the Lord our Savior, family, and all of God’s creatures that she was blessed with especially her cocker spaniel Skippy.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Alva O’Dell; her sister Patricia and brother Wesley. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends from Libertyville Manor Care.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 on Friday May 13th at United Protestant Church, 54 S Whitney St, Grayslake, IL 60030 where there will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Grant Cemetery, Ingleside,  IL.
