Obituary of Sandie Prangle

Sandie Prangle, 77, a longtime Libertyville resident, passed away Oct 3, 2022.  Born in Park Ridge, Sandie dedicated her life to the care of others, starting as a neonatal nurse and progressing later in her career to administration at Condell Hospital.  In her free time, she loved traveling, especially to her Heaven on Earth, Ireland.  She had a passion for horses and horseback riding, loved her chocolate and all things organic, and looked forward to attending her grandchildren’s many school and sporting events.

The greatest love in her life was her family; spending time with her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.  Sandie was an incredibly devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed.

Sandie is survived by her loving children Deidra Kostak in Ireland, Traci (Marty Jacobson) Kostak and Troy (Vicki) Kostak; her cherished grandchildren Adrianne, Conor, Makenna, Kaden, Jessica, and Justin; and her dearest sisters Sheila (Bill) Schmidt and Sharon (the late Ron) Ward; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Prangle.

Visitation for Sandie will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on October 16th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville .
